9th Annual Wake n’ Break

Wake n’ Break is back for its 9th year and remains one of the most anticipated mornings of SF Beer Week in Silicon Valley. As far as we know, it’s also the first SF Beer Week event in Silicon Valley, and a Taplands tradition we look forward to all year.

We open early at 9am for breakfast beers paired with a donut breakfast sandwich made with Stan’s Donuts, a longtime Santa Clara institution. Donut breakfast sandwiches are limited and tend to sell out early.

The beer lineup features “morning-friendly” styles with flavors like coffee, maple, oats, and fruit, including:

• Pastry stouts

• Coffee porters

• Fruity sours

• Micheladas made with Taplands’ Sid’s Serrano Pale Ale, whose subtle heat and crisp finish make it ideal for a morning michelada

Breakfast beers pair surprisingly well with rich foods like donuts, which is exactly why Wake n’ Break has become such a staple.
